A new direction for a tired brand

OAG are to the aviation industry what flour is to baking. For over 100 years they have gathered, managed, organised and sold access to all of the flight schedules and data that powers the aviation industry. From running airports to holiday booking platforms to aviation apps.

Over time, the OAG brand had withered, and their identity had become inconsistent and haphazard and neither did anything but compound their lack of marketing strategy.

 

An exercise in simplification and focus delivered a new brand experience. It puts their customers’ needs first, delivers against them making them a key partner for the customer’s future plans.​​

The new identity riffs off their customer-focused strapline of Making Smarter Moves with a dynamic graphic device.

 

Paired with a simpler logo, vastly simpler colour palette, bolder, cleaner typography and a more playful approach to visualising and writing the subject matter, the new brand is stands out within their industry and is more supportive of a revamped approach to their marketing.
